Vince McMahon reportedly made several changes ahead of this past week’s RAW in Denver, CO.

Ahead of RAW, McMahon re-wrote the script according to The Wrestling Observer.

Several segments of the night were changed, including Aleister Black suffering his first loss on RAW, after being pinned by AJ Styles, as well as Rowan’s reveal of his spider in the cage.

Original plans had Riddick Moss facing R-Truth for the WWE 24/7 Championship, but that was changed during McMahon’s rewrite of the script. Ricochet ended up getting pinned clean by Moss during the episode.

Vince McMahon Unhappy With Baszler vs. Sane

Vince McMahon was also not pleased with the Shayna Baszler vs. Kairi Sane match during the show.

He reportedly was negative and uncertain on Baszler not coming off like a Wrestlemania headliner during the match.

“But there was negativity and uncertainty regarding McMahon’s reaction to Baszler’s match with Kairi Sane on Raw not getting the desired reaction and Baszler not coming off like a WrestleMania headliner.”

Baszler is currently penciled in to win the WWE Elimination Chamber, and face Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania 36. It’s unknown if McMahon is now having second thoughts following Bazler’s match with Sane during RAW.

Baszler was originally planned to win the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble, but changes were made ahead of the pay-per-view, with Charlotte Flair ending up winning the match.
