Update 3:00 PM ET – Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet / WWE Backstage has confirmed the segment was in fact scripted and not a miscommunication by WWE officials and security.
During last night’s edition of Monday Night RAW, WWE security tackled a man following a match between AJ Styles and Akira Tozawa.
Following the incident it was revealed that WWE security tackled the actor playing the wedding officiant in the Lana-Lashley marriage angle.

According to Reddit insider LooseLipsBackstage, the wedding official being tackled by WWE security was part of the script.
The script outlined the incident, indicating the gentlemen would be confronted by security when attempting to get in the ring.
Check out an excerpt from the script below.

Vic Joseph mentioned the incident following the commercial break, indicating security tackled the wedding official.
It’s unclear why the WWE would choose to add the segment into the show, perhaps to add an element of realism, but that has yet to be verified.
