I can independently confirm reports #WWE is aiming for about 45,000 people per night at Raymond James Stadium for #WrestleMania, which would be by far the largest crowd at a sports or entertainment event in America since the pandemic began. @BN9 @MyNews13

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed an executive order last fall that allows for stadiums to run full capacity should they choose to, but no one has run a show to that magnitude so far. #WWE

Raymond James Stadium Could Be At 75% Capacity
WWE Wrestlemania 37 is under one month away, and the company has yet to solidify a full-match card.
The company will be putting tickets on-sale on 3/16, with prices ranging from $35-$2500 per night.
At the beginning of the year, internal talks suggested WWE wanted upwards of 25,000 fans per night, that number has almost doubled based on a meeting this past week.
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE’s goal is to have 45,000 fans each night of Wrestlemania 37.
On 3/10, The City Of Tampa met with area hotels, who were told WWE was pushing to host Wrestlemania at 75 percent capacity at Raymond James Stadium. The stadium could hold 60,000 fans with a full stage setup, and that is where the 45,000 at 75 percent capacity number comes from.
WWE representatives were in attendance during Superbowl weekend, and discussed the possibility of having cardboard cutouts mixed with real fans. Based on these new numbers, it would appear WWE doesn’t have plans to replace empty seats with cardboard fans.
Wrestlemania 37 will take place on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, streaming live on pay-per-view, Peacock, and WWE Network (outside U.S).
