In the fallout of WWE’s organizational rightsizing Wednesday, many at the company are trying to acclimate to a new normal.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, one WWE source indicated it felt like “at least 40% of the company was gone today vs. yesterday.”

Some of those who remain feel guilt that they ares still employed, while friends and co-workers were released or furloughed.

Many divisions within the company are suffering due to the decrease in workforce, and some feel they now have more on their plate than usual.

Two departments saw heavy cuts, including the live events and digital department.

Cuts were across the board in every division. We are told that the live events division was especially hit hard since there aren’t any events currently and the digital area of the company also suffered deep cuts as well.

WWE employees who were furloughed are expected to be off work for less than six months, with the earliest date reported as July 1. This timeline can change due to how fluid the current health crisis is.
