Last Minute Change Causes NXT Talent To Not Appear On SmackDown
An NXT talent was set to appear on last week’s SmackDown, but was cut from the script during the show.
WrestleVotes reports that an NXT wrestler, who has a match on tonight’s show, was slated to be called up to SmackDown last week in the main event segment which featured Kevin Owens, Jey Uso and Roman Reigns.
Just heard an interesting story… NXT talent was slated to be called up to SmackDown last week, as of showtime, was written into the main event segment w/ Reigns, Uso & KO. Said talent is on tonight’s big NXT card so curious to see if it was pushed a week or scrapped altogether.

It wasn’t noted who the wrestler was exactly, however Superstars announced for tonight’s NXT include: Finn Balor, Kyle O’Reilly, Raquel Gonzalez, Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, Karrion Kross, Gran Metalik, Santos Escobar and Dexter Lumis.
Timothy Thatcher and Tomasso Ciampa was scheduled to have a Fight Pit Match on tonight’s show, but WWE has quietly stopped advertising it.
WrestleVotes noted that he wasn’t sure whether the segment has been pushed back a week or scrapped completely, so it seems we will find out on Friday’s show.
