Daniel Bryan was recently cleared after an undisclosed injury at Wrestlemania 35.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, only key people within the company are aware of what his injury was.

WWE releases roster reports weekly which indicate who is injured, and the reason they are out of action. In the case of Daniel Bryan, no reason was indicated, only the term “unlisted”.

Although the actual injury is unknown, Meltzer assumes it may have been a concussion due to how secretive the the company has been internally with the reason behind Bryan being out of action.

Following more than two years of extensive evaluations, Daniel Bryan was medically cleared last March to return to in-ring competition.

WWE put in strict guidelines that must be adhered to in order for Daniel Bryan to continue wrestling.

In an ESPN interview earlier this year, Daniel Bryan revealed as soon as he leaves the ring and arrives backstage, he must solve a math problem to ensure his brain is functioning properly. If Bryan fails this simple math test, he cannot wrestle.

This is one of many tests a WWE doctor performs on Daniel Bryan following any physical activity in the ring.

First, he gets his eyes checked, then he goes through balance tests, and lastly he he is asked to do a math problem. The WWE isn’t taking any chances with Bryan, who has suffered 10 documented concussions.
