The original report noted that WWE had talks with Enzo Amore and Big Cass to join NXT once the brand moves to USA Network. The thought was for the duo to become one of the top stars in the company, and make a surprise appearance.
It’s unknown if talks simply broke down, or if WWE decided they no longer were interested in the pair. Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that WWE is denying claims they were in talks with bringing in the duo.
Enzo tweeted out the following photo after news initially broke that the WWE was interested in him and Cass.
