Report: WWE PC Talent Asked To Quarantine, Sparking COVID-19 Concerns

WWE is asking talent who were at the WWE Performance Center on 10/16 to self-quarantine according to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

It’s unknown if anyone who was at the facility has actually tested positive, but those were present have been advised to quarantine for two weeks.

Details are not known other than it happened on Friday and people who were there, whether they tested positive or negative, were asked to quarantine for two weeks due to contact tracing.

There have been reports that it includes people scheduled for NXT’s Halloween Havoc show Wednesday and that aspects of the show are going to have to be changed.

One WWE source indicates that “nobody that is an NXT television regular has tested positive.”, but an official WWE response has yet to be released.

Fightful Select (subscription required) reports WWE was holding an “in-house live event to track progression of NXT talent” on Friday, and many, if not all in attendance have been advised to quarantine.

NXT Halloween Havoc will take place Wednesday at the Performance Center. WWE is still planning on allowing up to 100 fans to attend the show, all will be required to have a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the building.
