While no matches have been officially announced, major angles are likely to start following this weekend’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
According to Wrestlevotes, creative plans WWE had in place a few months ago have been “torn up. The reasoning behind this major shift is due to Edge’s injury, which played a big part in making this decision.
Other variables also included the lack of live fans, which is the reason WWE has little desire to have Brock Lesnar on the pay-per-view. The report indicates two major matches have been scrapped.

Earlier this month, WrestlingInc noted that one match expected to take place at the event was ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt vs. Braun Strowman, concluding their “Three Faces Of Wyatt” storyline.
It’s unknown if any of these matches were part of creative plans that have been scrapped.
