Rey Mysterio was in Nashville yesterday and met with Konnan, Jeff and Karen Jarrett. The meeting happened yesterday evening after Jarrett returned from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The trio met and discussed options for Rey to join GFW once Lucha Underground Season 3 is finished. Mysterio was offered a contract during the meeting.
Lucha Underground runs their final episode of Season 3 in October. It is unknown whether El Ray will have a Lucha Underground fourth season.
Rey Mysterio was seen later in the evening with Konnan and WWE Superstar R-Truth.
We will be on the GFW weekly media call tomorrow, and hopefully we can get some insight. It is unknown whether GFW officials will comment as it is still a pending matter.
