Samoa Joe was going for a powerbomb, but Rey countered it with a rana, and the referee counted three.
Following the match, Corey Graves questioned whether Joe’s shoulders were actually down for the count. The production truck played replays which showed Joe’s shoulder was up.
Samoa Joe’s nose was busted up during the match, and bleeding. The match ended in under 3 minutes.
