Update: 12:13 p.m ET

According to PWInsider, WWE sources reveal there is no new updates on plans to build a physical WWE Hall Of Fame building “beyond what has been discussed in the past”

In asking around this morning, PWInsider.com sources stated that there has been no updates beyond what has been discussed in the past about potential plans and that there’s currently nothing on the horizon that would indicate anything different.  So, if you are hoping for some sort of announcement in the near future, don’t expect it to be forthcoming anytime soon.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair says the company is in the process of building a physical Hall Of Fame.

During an interview with ESPN’s The Jump, Flair revealed WWE’s plans to establish a physical Hall of Fame in Orlando, FL.

“WWE is actually in the process of building a Hall of Fame, a physical structure in Orlando,” Flair stated. “”It’s been delayed too, due to COVID,”

Flair spoke about a golden robe WWE purchased to be placed in the Hall of Fame location.

“They purchased the robe and wanted to put that in there,” Flair said. “It would be something that I wore [they would showcase] in the Hall.”

This past July, Vince McMahon spoke on the possibility of having a physical Hall of Fame during the annual WWE shareholders call.

Bricks and mortar is something that, generally speaking, we, other than office buildings and office space of course, that we’re not necessarily fond of, but nonetheless, again the interest in that continues to build and it’s still a possibility somewhere down the line.

In 2012, rumors circulated WWE had plans to build a physical Hall Of Fame location in Orlando, FL.
