Flair In Good Spirits Ahead Of Surgery
Conflicting reports surfaced today regarding the health of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.
Earlier today, TMZ reported Flair was rushed to an Atlanta area hospital after suffering a medical emergency.
Flair’s son-in-law Conrad Thompson downplayed the seriousness of his hospital visit during a Starrcast media call this afternoon.
Thompson states Flair had a scheduled hospital visit for a planned procedure.

Ric Flair’s wife Wendy Barlow issued a statement to TMZ advising he will be undergoing surgery Friday morning, and is expected to fully recover.
“Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recover,”
FOX 5 Atlanta is reporting Flair’s procedure is serious, and is related to a heart condition he has been dealing with.

According to Conrad Thompson, Flair opted to have his procedure done prior to his appearance Starrcast weekend in Las Vegas.
