Ric Flair has announced he signed a deal with athletic apparel brand Adidas.
Flair shared the news with TMZ on the same day he announced he would pursue legal action against WWE for using ‘The Man’ name, if the company didn’t begin paying him royalties.
Flair didn’t provide specifics on the deal, but he did state him and Adidas are planning to make Nike the “second brand”.
“I signed a deal with them, and we’re fixing to make Nike the second brand. OK? It’s not gonna be Air Jordan anymore, it’s gonna be Air Flair, and I can’t jump.”
Adidas has branched out of traditional sports endorsements, earlier this year the company signed Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins for its first esports endorsement.
