Ring Of Honor took to Twitter on January 4th to announce that they have parted ways with Marty Scurll, and this didn’t come as a surprise to many within the company.
Fightful Select (subscription required) reports that many within ROH were not surprised following Marty Scurll’s exit from the company.
Prior to allegations made against him during the #SpeakingOut movements, Marty Scurll had become lead booker for Ring Of Honor, working in the role for around four months. Scurll had also won both singles and tag team titles whilst competing in the promotion.
The report also noted that among people they spoke to, many believed he wouldn’t be coming back to the promotion after he was removed from the roster page back in September.
Fightful mentioned that ‘plenty’ of those they spoke to thought Scurll should be given a second chance, with a similar among just wanting him to leave.
Scurll is still living in Orlando at the moment, however the Wrestling Observer reported recently, he could be forced to leave the United States as he isn’t working there.
