Ring Of Honor wrestler Danhausen has taken the next step in his career, filing a trademark to secure his in-ring name and likeness.

On 11/4, Donovan Danhausen filed a trademark for the name “Danhausen” with The United States Patent and Trademark Office. He used the services of Michael “Gimmick Attorney” Dockins to file the application.

The trademark filing is for both merchandise and for use as a professional wrestler.

In International Class 041, the mark was first used by the applicant or the applicant’s related company or licensee predecessor in interest at least as early as 00/00/2013, and first used in commerce at least as early as 00/00/2013, and is now in use in such commerce. The applicant is submitting one(or more) specimen(s) showing the mark as used in commerce on or in connection with any item in the class of listed goods/services, consisting of a(n) screen captures and advertisements showing the mark used in respect of the services.

In International Class 025, the mark was first used by the applicant or the applicant’s related company or licensee predecessor in interest at least as early as 01/00/2018, and first used in commerce at least as early as 01/00/2018, and is now in use in such commerce. The applicant is submitting one(or more) specimen(s) showing the mark as used in commerce on or in connection with any item in the class of listed goods/services, consisting of a(n) website printouts showing the mark in use on and in close association with the on-sale goods.

Danhausen recently revealed he had signed a deal with Ring Of Honor. He is still a mainstay on the independent scene, known for his work in Black Label Pro, Warrior Wrestling, and AIW.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, Danhausen was forced to leave the ROH bubble in Baltimore during the last set of television tapings.
