Roman Reigns Announces He Is In Remission
Roman Reigns returned tonight to Monday Night RAW to give a much anticipated health update.
Reigns opened the show to a standing ovation from the crowd at The State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. Reigns thanked the fans for their thoughts and prayers during his four month hiatus dealing with leaukemia.
Roman Reigns then announced that his leukemia is officially in remission, which received a large ovation from those in attendance.
“I said I was going to swing for the fences. We did better than that, y’all. We didn’t just swing for the fences. We hit a home run. So when I tell you this, I’m so grateful and so humbled and so honored to announce, The good news is, I’m in remission, y’all.
So with that being said, the Big Dog is back!”
Remission means that no leukaemic cells can be found in the blood or bone marrow. The official type of leukemia Reigns was dealing with is unknown.

Reigns stated that he is now focused on using the WWE platform to raise awareness about cancer, and help support those who are in need just like he was.
Roman Reigns did not announce any return date, but I’m sure that will be known very soon.
Following his announcement, as Reigns was heading to the back, Seth Rollins music hit, and the two shared a moment.
