Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE since before WrestleMania due to the coronavirus and the fact he has a young family at home. He was set to take on Goldberg at WrestleMania for the Universal Championship however was replaced last minute by Braun Strowman, who went on to defeat Goldberg.

WWE haven’t mentioned Reigns ever since he decided to stay at home, however this doesn’t mean he cant make appearances on television.

He appeared on FOX’s Good Day Rochester to talk about how cancer patients should take extra precautions during the pandemic, as Reigns himself has fought Leukemia before, only returning to action last year after putting it in remission.

He has teamed up with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to spread awareness of how they are supporting patients with a free one-on-one financial assistance program.

Dr. Louis Degennaro, CEO of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society joined Reigns and spoke about how they are supporting Blood Cancer patients by giving $250 to each patient to help with non-medical expenses, such as groceries and utilities. T

They have distributed more than $4 million to more than 15,000 patients since setting it up in April 2020.

Patients can get support through the society’s website, http://LLS.org.
