Roman Reigns has been off WWE television since March, missing Wrestlemania 36. Prior to making the decision to take a hiatus from WWE, Roman Reigns twin boys were born. He made the decision to step away from the ring due to wanting to spend time with his growing family.
Reigns recently spoke with TMZ, stating he can’t wait to return to the ring, but he has an obligation to his family to be with them during this time.
In an interview with The Hindu Times, Reigns spoke out about his co-workers, stating he’s unsure if they would take the same precautions as him during the pandemic.
The decision was taken mainly because each performer travels so much, and we are all such a diverse group and from all over the place. I’m not convinced, and I can’t trust the fact that everybody is taking it as seriously and locking themselves down at home like I am. I trust my life with my co-workers every time I step foot in the ring, but I just can’t put the same trust when it has my children, my wife and my family involved.
It’s unknown when Roman Reigns will return to WWE. His last match was at live event in Syracuse, NY on 3/1.
