Becky Lynch suffering a broken nose and concussion this past week on RAW took her out of the picture for Survivor Series, but could have elevated her career even further.
Dave Meltzer mentioned yesterday on Wrestling Observer Radio that the match between Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch is now scheduled for Wrestlemania 35. Meltzer spoke more on this story in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter stating it is now the planned main event for show in April.
Right now the plan is for Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch to headline WrestleMania. After the injury to Lynch on 11/12, a fractured nose and a concussion from a punch by Nia Jax during an in-ring Raw vs. Smackdown women’s brawl, she was out of the match that, due to the promos on both sides, was the most looked-forward to match on the show. – Wrestling Observer Newsletter
Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch headlining Wrestlemania would be the first ever women’s match to headline to yearly event. Vince McMahon and Rousey discussed having the match this past Wednesday, and the plans for it to headline the show seem to be the current plan.
