WWE had its first positive COVID-19 diagnosis in the company announced this past weekend, and many have began to speculate the identity of the person.
Erroneous reports surfaced on several blogs, and social media posts indicating three names have been infected with the virus, two being Carmela and Corey Graves. These reports are false, yet still have spread across many social media channels.
Carmela took to Twitter to dispel the rumor, assuring her fans she has been “healthy through all this”
I appreciate your concern, but don’t believe everything you read on the internet. Fortunately, I’ve been healthy through all of this. 🙏🏽 https://t.co/bqNbjTzhJm

Dave Meltzer noted during Sunday evening’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio a member of WWE’s broadcasting was infected by the virus.
WWE issued the following statement Saturday evening, revealing the WWE employee became symptomatic days after being exposed to two health care workers, and has yet made a complete recovery.
“A WWE employee has tested positive for COVID-19. We believe this matter is low risk to WWE talent and staff, as the individual and a roommate became symptomatic in the days following exposure to two people working in acute health care on the evening of March 26, after WWE’s TV production on a closed set was already complete. The employee had no contact with anyone from WWE since being exposed to those two individuals, is doing well, and made a complete recovery.”
WWE plans to move forward with live broadcasts of weekly television programming from the WWE Performance Center. The company issued a statement with reasoning behind their decision.
