Sami Zayn has been out of action since June, and he’s ready to make a return according to a vignette that aired on WWE RAW tonight.
Zayn was competeting with injuries to both his rotator cuffs, and following Money in Bank this past June he underwent surgery to repair the first one. Later in the summer he had his second surgery, and has been rehabbing ever since. Zayn originally tore his rotator cuff in 2009, and from then the injury most likely re-surfaced. Sami is not exactly aware of when the second round of injuries occurred, but he was working injured for quite sometime.
The original plan was for Sami Zayn to be back in action by Wrestlemania, but it appears his rehab is going well, and the WWE did announce tonight he will be returning soon.
It’s unknown the exact date he will return.
