Samoa Joe has officially returned to WWE NXT.
During the opening segment, General Manager William Regal addressed the NXT Universe, speaking on being with the black and gold brand since day one. He reminisced on all the accomplishments the brand has had over the years, but believes he’s unable to continue in his role due to the chaos that has been happening.
"I don't think I am capable of giving you what you deserve anymore, and so I think it's time for me to…" – @RealKingRegal

Regal was then interrupted by Karrion Kross, who had some choice words for the General Manager. He said it’s time for Regal to quit and never come back.
Samoa Joe’s music hit, and he was met with a standing ovation from the Capitol Wrestling Center.
William Regal requested Samoa Joe take over his role as General Manager of NXT, but he said no, and explained his reasoning. Joe stated that Regal has been within NXT since the beginning, scouring the planet for the best talent, including himself.
