Scarlett Bordeaux has revealed that she was originally going to be the manager of Damian Priest.
Scarlett Bordeaux was signed by WWE in November 2019, alongside Shotzi Blackheart and Indi Hartwell. Prior to this Bordeaux worked with her partner, Killer Kross, on the independent scene, having several matches in AAA following her exit from IMPACT Wrestling.
It wasn’t until February of 2020 that Killer Kross joined WWE, under the new name of Karrion Kross. Scarlett hadn’t been featured on TV up until Kross’ debut, where she became his manager and helped him dominate black and gold NXT.
Upon Kross’ main roster call-up on Raw, Scarlett was nowhere to be seen. In fact she never showed up on the main roster, with the two being released from WWE on November 4th, 2021.
While Scarlett worked one dark match against Shotzi Blackheart in June 2021 prior to an episode of SmackDown, she never had a televised match, even after Kross debuted.
Scarlett has now revealed the original plans for her in WWE, during an autograph signing with ‘Signed By Superstars‘.
Scarlett explained that prior to Kross joining WWE, the plan was for her to manage current United States Champion Damian Priest, due to the uncertainty surrounding Kross’ availability.
“I don’t know if you know this, but the original plan was for me to manage Damian Priest, because we weren’t sure if Kross was going to be free. Then Kross got signed.”
Bordeaux has already returned to the independent scene after her non-compete clause expired, with Killer Kross set to become free on February 2nd, 2021. Kross recently teased his involvement in ‘Control Your Narrative’, alongside EC3 and Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman).
