WWE Releasing Several Backstage Employees  

WWE is undergoing some changes behind the scenes, with multiple employees being let go today.

According to PWInsider, “a ton of firings” are currently happening at WWE. The digital department, which includes the WWE Network has been hit hard by the releases. Jaylar Donlan, WWE’s Executive Vice President, Advanced Media group was among those who were fired. He had been with WWE for over 8 years.

Multiple WWE employees who survived the latest round of cuts “expressed their shock and surprise at how important some of the names have been”.

Adnan Virk And WWE Part Ways

WWE announced today, Adnan Virk has “mutually parted ways” with the company.

Last month, WWE announced that Virk would become the new play-by-play commentator for RAW, replacing Tom Phillips. He was in that position for a little over a month.

WWE and Adnan Virk have mutually agreed to part ways. WWE thanks Adnan for his work.

It’s unknown what changes will be made to the commentary team going forward.
