WWE Set To Renew WWE Legends Deals
The WWE currently has several former stars under deals known as “Contractor Nostalgia Agreement”, or commonly referred to as a “Legends Contract. A number of legends signed 5 year deals with the company, which has an option to have the contract terminated yearly.
According to Rajah.com, Vince McMahon wants to keep everyone they can exclusively to the company, and names such as Booker T, Ric Flair, and Hulk Hogan are set to renew deals in January. Although details are not known whether the pay structure will change with the renewals.
In looking at a standard contract the WWE Legends deal, the WWE will pay a $10,000 advance for future royalties, and minimum of $500 for each appearance the star makes. Top legends such as Flair, Hogan and Booker T make much more per appearance, but a standard deal gives the WWE an option to pay minimum amounts.
