Philip Thomas II Pleas Not Guilty, Disposition Scheduled For October
Philip Thomas II is facing three felony charges following a hostage attempt that occurred inside the house of WWE star Sonya Deville last month in Florida.
On 9/3, his public defender filed a plea on his behalf with the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Hillsborough County, FL. The filing was made ahead of an arraignment scheduled for 9/9. The notice of appearance filing included a written plea of not guilty on all charges he faces.

- CRIMINAL MISCHIEF LESS THAN $200 – SECOND DEGREE MISDEMEANOR
On August 24, a judge agreed to seal evidence in the case, including photographs, and private messages the defendant sent Deville and her ex-girlfriend Ariana Johnson. According to court documents, Deville received additional threats from unknown individuals after Thomas’ arrest on 8/16.
Deville has taken time off from WWE following the incident, working her last match at WWE SummerSlam, losing a “Loser Leaves WWE” match against Mandy Rose.
Thomas has a virtual disposition hearing scheduled for 10/12 which will be held over Zoom, he remains in custody.
