WWE has been keeping a the up-coming Wrestlemania 36 card under wraps, and current booking has yet to hint any major match ups for the event.
In past years, Wrestlemania main events are booked well in advance, and WWE builds storylines leading to the marquee matches on the card.
This year things are different, and as we wrap-up 2019, only one possible match has been teased, Tyson Fury vs. Brock Lesnar, based on an interview Fury gave recently.
Dave Meltzer noted in the latest Wrestling Observer Radio mailbag that ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship “wouldn’t be shocking at all”, but these plans have yet to be confirmed.
It’s very possible, because they have been keeping them a part, and they are on the same brand. We’re in December, and usually right around now, you kind of know the Wrestlemania card, I know a little bit, but I don’t know much. I know what’s not going to happen, but I don’t know what is going to happen, there is a couple matches that I kinda know, and The Fiend and Roman Reigns, there has not been a hint or anything in that direction, but that one wouldn’t be shocking at all
We will get a much better idea on plans closer to the WWE Royal Rumble at the end of January.
WWE Wrestlemania 36 will be held on 4/6 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.
