2K announced earlier today that a number of WWE legends and current superstars will be joining their Battlegrounds roster in the coming weeks.
2K have revealed that there will be five roster updates in the coming weeks on Dec. 23, Dec. 30, Jan 6, Jan 13, and Jan 20.
The first update on December 23rd will include WWE Hall Of Famers Ric Flair and Sting along with current superstars Montez Ford and Sheamus. A special ‘holiday themed’ arena will also be included in the update.
December 30th will bring WWE Hall Of Famers Razor Ramon and Diesel along with current superstar and Street Profits member Angelo Dawkins. This update will also make the ‘Winter Bear’ arena available to use.
On January 6th, players will be able to add WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart and current superstar Sami Zayn to their in-game roster.
The January 13th update will include Chad Gable and Akam of AOP.
The final update announced will take place on January 20th, which will include WWE Hall Of Famer Roddy Piper, Rezar and Fandango.
Former WWE talent Sting, Rezar and Akam were announced for the game prior to their departure from the company, which is likely why they are included in the upcoming update.

2K announced today that WWE Hall of Famers Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, Diesel and Razor Ramon will be joining the WWE® 2K Battlegrounds roster alongside several current WWE Superstars, setting the stage for a multigenerational battle. The roster update starts Wednesday, December 23* and includes 14 new WWE Superstars and two new arenas.**
The following WWE Superstars, Legends and Hall of Famers, as well as new arenas, are currently scheduled to appear in WWE 2K Battlegrounds via automatic updates, with some content requiring unlocking**:
Wednesday, December 23*:
Ric Flair;
Sheamus;
Montez Ford (unlocked);
Sting (unlocked);
Holiday Arena.
Wednesday, December 30*:
Diesel;
Razor Ramon;
Angelo Dawkins (unlocked);
Winter Bear Arena.
