Tonight during Friday Night SmackDown, Big E faced Cesaro in a singles match, with the winner choosing a stipulation for a SmackDown Tag Team Championship match this Sunday at Extreme Rules.
Earlier this year, WWE teamed up with Dollar General and Snickers, giving fans the chance to vote on a stipulation match at Extreme Rules. The choices were Tables Match, Cage Match, or Falls Count Anywhere Match.
According to Michael Cole, the votes were “too close”, and the winner of tonight’s match had final say in the stipulation.
