The Revival’s time with WWE may be coming to an end in a few months, and with no new contract signed the duo is thinking about their future in the business.
As first reported by PWInsider, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson have filed a trademark for the term “Shatter Machine” to be used for both clothing and professional wrestling.
The trademark was filed with the United States Patent and Trademark and on 1/8.
The duo registered the trademark using Michael E. Dockins of SHUMAKER LOOP & KENDRICK. The same attorney has filed individual trademarks for Shawn Spears, Charlotte Flair, and Andrade, and Joey Janela.
International Class 025: Hats; Hooded sweat shirts; Pants; Shirts
Intent to Use: The applicant has a bona fide intention, and is entitled, to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with the identified goods/services. (15 U.S.C. Since the WWE owns the trademark for the term “The Revival”, which the company registered in 2017. That name cannot be used outside WWE.
Based on the recent filing, if the duo decides to leave the company it’s possible they could perform under name “Shatter Machine”.
Last year, Dash Wilder filed a trademark for the term “#FTR”, which also is classified as wrestling services
Details emerged earlier this month indicating the WWE is still in talks with the team to sign new deals ahead of their contracts expiring in the spring.
Fightful Select reported WWE is offering more money and less dates if the team decides to re-sign.
Last year, WWE offered The Revival $550,000 each per-year to sign new multi-year deals with the company. The duo declined that offer.
