The Rock, Wife, and Daughters Test Positive For COVID-19

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has announced he has tested positive for COVID-19.

The former WWE star made the announcement on Instagram Wednesday evening, revealing him, his wife Lauren, and two baby daughters have tested positive for the virus.

He said this was one of the most challenging things he had to endure, and luckily his two daughters did not have severe symtoms. However, his wife Lauren had “a rough go”. He explained that fighting coronavirus is different than anything he has faced before, citing his days playing football, as well as working in the WWE as “The Rock”.

He says him and his family have since beat the virus, and are no longer contagious. He mentioned how blessed they are, as close friends of his have lost their parents due to the virus.

“Testing positive for COVID-19 is a lot different than recovering from nasty injuries, getting evicted or being broke, which I’ve been more than a few times,” Johnson stated  “My No. 1 priority is to always protect my family and my loved ones … I wish it was only me that tested positive. It was my entire family and it was a kick in the gut. We in a family are good, we’re on the other end of it and no longer contagious. Thank God, we’re healthy.”
