Earlier today the WWE confirmed NXT UK’s first WWE Network special will air live on January 12th titled NXT UK Takeover :Blackpool. The event will take place as the Empress Ballroom, a 3000 capacity venue in Blackpool.
Today at the NXT TV tapings in Liverpool it was announced that the NXT Women’s Championship will be on the line as Toni Storm takes on Rhea Ripley.
Triple H’s announcement was played for the crowd in Liverpool.
