More Details Emerge On TJP’s Release
The WWE announced the release of former Cruiserweight Champion TJP this past Friday.
Dave Meltzer reported on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that TJP’s release from the WWE was due to disciplinary issues.
Although the details surrounding his exact firing is unknown, many within the company have stated that TJP has been difficult to work with in the past.
Many speculated it was due to the fact that TJP recently got new tattoos without clearing it with the company first.
TJP shot down those rumors, and stated he cleared the new ink with the company, and was given permission 6 months ago.

WWE requires talent to give advance notice if they are planning on making any drastic changes to their look due to merchandising and consistency in marketing.
WWE’s current position is trying to retain talent, and are offering long term deals to those whose contracts are set to expire. WWE’s firing of TJP was said to be “something they felt they needed to do” according to Meltzer.
It’s unknown if any other promotions have since reached out to TJP with any offers.
