Pro wrestling legend Tracey Smothers has passed away at age 58.
The news was confirmed by friends of family Wednesday morning.
Smothers was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer last year, which at the time was believed to be non fatal.
On 10/16, Smothers was admitted into hospital due to a rapidly growing Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma tumor on the left side of his stomach. Five days later he underwent hernia surgery, and was released from the hospital on 10/21.
He revealed on Facebook was was back in the E.R on Monday.
In ER again throwing up Bile or Vile.Belly button hernia surgery aggravated the fast rising non-hodgkins Lymphoma cancer.Heart rate is high an Thyriod is out of whack.Other than that Im just swell on a Wacky Wed.lol.Please Pray?
Tracy Smothers is best known for his World Championship Wrestling, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, the World Wrestling Federation and Extreme Championship Wrestling.
Smothers continued to wrestle on the independent scene until late 2019. His most notable final appearances were for Game Changer Wrestling.

I just heard the news about Tracy Smothers. In my early years as a wrestler myself and @SexyChuckieT got to spend a lot of time with Tracy. He always knew how to put a smile on peoples faces.
