Over recent months, WWE has partnered with A&E to produce several ‘biographies’ of WWE legends such as Randy Savage, Roddy Piper, Steve Austin, and most recently, Booker T.

Unlike other wrestling documentaries, WWE was heavily involved in the production of the episodes, meaning they had a lot of control over the information revealed. This caused WWE Hall Of Famer X-Pac to voice his unhappiness over the ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage episode during an interview with WrestlingInc.

“I didn’t like it man. They went in hard on Mach. He’s not around to defend himself. He’s not around to say, ‘Hey, that’s not true.’ He’s not here man, and I just didn’t like it. I wasn’t a fan of it, and I don’t understand how Bubba the f**king Love Sponge ended up having so much air time.”

During the most recent edition themed around Booker T, a controversial Booker T and HHH feud, leading to a match at WrestleMania 19 wasn’t featured during the episode.

In several recent tweets, writer David Dennis Jr claimed how he was brought in to do some interviews around the feud, however, knew it would eventually be cut from the final product.
