Triple H has provided an update on NXT’s Velveteen Dream.
The Velveteen Dream hasn’t been seen on WWE television since December 23rd when he lost to Adam Cole on an episode of NXT.
During the pre-NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day media call, Triple H was asked for an update on Velveteen Dream, in which Triple H replied stating how he is still training and on the NXT roster.
“There’s really nothing to add with Velveteen Dream. He’s still training, he had a little physical thing for a bit, but he’s still with us still training, still on the roster”
Velveteen Dream (real name Patrick Clark) was accused of sending sexually explicit photos of himself to a minor via Instagram last year. Dream denied the accusations and stated that a private photo of himself was shared without his permission.
Following the accusation was made public, Triple H spoke with CBS Sports, claiming nothing was found during internal investigations. He later reiterated his stance during a NXT media call last fall, saying the company has “moved on”.
