United States Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson has strum up attention over the past few weeks, with many people wondering what will be his next move. The options that were seemingly on the table according to betting odds included Professional Wrestling, Combat Sports, and training for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Per the Wrestling Observer, Gable Steveson has decided to choose professional wrestling and reportedly signed a deal with WWE. Steveson tweeted out on September 4th, 2021 that he had put pen to paper.” Steveson has been WWE programming already, having been honored at Summerslam along with fellow Olympic Gold Medalist, Tamyra Mensah-Stock. Steveson also met with Vince McMahon at said event.

According to Meltzer, their is no date for the Gold medalist to start, nor are there any details on if he is done at the University of Minnesota. Gable’s brother, Bobby Steveson was part of the news group of Performance Center recruits. There was no mention whether this had anything to do with Gable’s decision to sign with WWE.
