Over the last few months, WWE has been building up the return of Bray Wyatt through a series of segments titled “Firefly Fun House”.
The vignettes have stopped airing, and over the last few weeks we have seen characters from the series begin strategically appearing on WWE television. Wyatt himself has been backstage at RAW, but has yet to make an appearance on television.
According to Wrestlevotes, the original plan was for Wyatt to make his re-debut and wrestle at Summerslam in Toronto. This was prior to Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman being introduced as Executive Director’s of television. At this point in time he’s expected to work Summerslam, which could potentially have him return beforehand to promote an up-coming program with whoever his first opponent will be.
Getting a ton of questions re: Bray Wyatt. I know this – prior to Bischoff & Heyman taking over, the plan was for him to redebut & wrestle AT SummerSlam. I can’t confirm if any of that has changed. I’m confident he’ll be at SummerSlam. Whether that’s his first appearance is TBD.

The big question is whether or not he will appear at Extreme Rules, or television following the pay-per-view. WWE Summerslam is less than a month away, matches will begin being announced on RAW this up-coming Monday in Uniondale, NY.
Bray Wyatt’s last match was at a WWE event was on December 30th at a live event in Buffalo, NY.
