Over the weekend, WWE announced that their annual spectacle WrestleMania will be taking place from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, once again being a two night event on both April 10th & 11th. The event was originally scheduled to take place from the SoFi stadium in Los Angeles, however that will now be hosting WrestleMania 39 in two years time.
Each year, WrestleMania is accompanied by the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony, which usually takes place in the week before the show of shows, however due to the pandemic the ceremony didn’t take place last year. Dave Meltzer noted on the Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is currently planning to hold the 2021 Hall Of Fame ceremony without fans, instead taking place virtually.
“The plan is to do the Hall Of Fame. The last I heard is virtually without fans, but that could change.”
WrestleVotes reported back in August that the 2020 Hall Of Fame Class, consisting of the Bella Twins, Batista, JBL, nWo, Davey Boy Smith and Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, will instead get inducted in 2021 due to the pandemic cancelling the 2020 WrestleMania weekend
