WWE 2K20 has been plagued with multiple issues since its launch this past October. According to multiple users, the game is unplayable due to a bug with the year 2020.
While no official reasoning behind the issue has been revealed, the game began crashing after midnight on January 1, 2020. The cause seemingly has to due when the software detects the year 2020.
The game reportedly crashes when selecting different game modes, including career and online.

2K Games issued the following statement regarding the bug.
Hey Superstars! We are aware of the issues related to
#WWE2K20 crashing and are currently investigating. We are working towards a solution and will update you all when we have more information
A workaround has been found for PS4 and PC players. Several users have stated that changing your system clock behind one day will alleviate the issue. This workaround reportedly does not work for XBox users.
