WWE announcer Percy Watson is reportedly leaving the company.
Casey of Squared Circle Sirens first broke the story that Watson was exiting WWE to pursue outside projects including acting.
Fightful followed up on the report and confirmed Watson has told people he no longer plans on working with WWE. However, they were not able to confirm a release from the company.
Watson’s exit was in the works for quite sometime, and due to his WWE schedule he couldn’t pursue outside projects.
Percy Watson is retired from in-ring competition, but has been on the commentary team for 205 Live, Main Event, NXT, and the Worlds Collide tournament.
