WWE Dismisses Lawsuit

WWE has dismissed a lawsuit against U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

According to the court records obtained by HeelByNature.com, WWE filed a voluntary dismissal with the United States District Court District of Connecticut on 3/10.

The lawsuit was filed on 1/26, but the nature of the lawsuit has been sealed to the public.

WWE is being represented by G. Martine Cuomo, a partner at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy in Westport, Connecticut who specializes in corporate immigration law, assisting businesses to manage employment in the United States, as well as defending deportation cases, and responding to government investigations.

On 1/27 the case was assigned to District Judge Michael P. Shea, who sits in Hartford, CT. The same day, a protective order was filed to ensure details of the case remain confidential.

Court records indicate an electronic summons was also issued on the same day for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services with answer required within 60 days. Originally, a pretrial date was set for 3/27.

It’s unknown if a settlement was reached due to specific court records being sealed.
