Court Records In WWE’s Latest Lawsuit Sealed To Public
WWE has filed a lawsuit against U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services as first reported by PWInsider.
The lawsuit was filed int he United States District Court of Connecticut on 1/26, but the nature of the lawsuit is currently sealed to the public.
According to court records obtained by HeelByNature.com, WWE is being represented by G. Martine Cuomo, a partner at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy in Westport, Connecticut who specializes in corporate immigration law, assisting businesses manage employment in the United States, as well as defending deportation cases, and responding to government investigations.
Court records state an electronic summons was issued on 1/27 to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services with answer required within 60 days.
The following pretrial deadlines were ordered.
- Pretrial Deadlines: Amended Pleadings due by 3/27/2021
- Discovery due by 7/28/2021
- Dispositive Motions due by 9/1/2021.
