WWE have reportedly introduced a 24/7 mask mandate. Due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the United States, Clark County Nevada have issued a mask mandate for all indoor events. This will mean that fans inside the Allegiant Stadium for this Saturday’s SummerSlam will be required to wear a mask throughout the show, regardless of vaccination status. This won’t be the only mandate put in place for Saturday’s show however, as according to Ringside News WWE have introduced a ’24/7 mask mandate’ backstage, with Superstars and staff being required to wear a mask at the venue unless eating or drinking. The mandate is said to apply to ‘everyone without exception.’ WWE have had to alter plans multiple times due to positive COVID-19 cases within the roster, and with SummerSlam being their largest audience since the start of the pandemic WWE won’t want to have to remove matches from the card. SummerSlam is set for this Saturday from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. You can read the full announced card by clicking here.
