Both Stars Will Be Subject To 12 Tests A Year Due To First Strike

WWE issued Wellness Policy Violations to Robert Roode and Eddie ‘Primo’ Colon.

Both stars will be suspended for 30 days, and have been given one strike on their record.

Primo Colon is still under WWE contract, despite not appearing at live events and television. He currently works for his family promotion WWC in an agreement with WWE.

Due to him still being under contract, he is subject to the same Wellness Policy testing as other talent.

WWE issued the following.

WWE has suspended Eddie Colón (Primo) and Robert Roode each for 30 days effective immediately, for a first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.

As per WWE’s Wellness Policy, the company issues a minimum of four tests per year for contracted Superstars. These tests are independently administered by Aegis Sciences Corporation.

The company has a three-strike system.  The first strike is a 30-day unpaid suspension without pay. The second strike is a 60-day unpaid suspension without pay. The third strike is termination contract.

WWE talent who fail a Wellness Policy test are now subject to a minimum of 12 random tests a year.
