2011 WWE Hall of Famer, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, is hospitalized due to an undisclosed infection.

Duggan’s family refuses to inform the public or the media of his specific medical issue.

However, Duggan’s wife, Debra, informs us on social media that he will be hospitalized for a few more days.

Judging from the photo, Duggan seems healed after the surgeries.

Consequently, this means Duggan is no longer appearing for a series of autograph signings he was booked for this weekend at the Legends of the Ring convention.

The wrestling convention is held at the Ramada Inn in Monroe, New Jersey.

The Medical History of Duggan

In the late-1990s, Hacksaw suffered from an early detection of kidney cancer during his time with WCW but overcame it through a successful surgery.

Recently, in November 2018, Duggan suffered from atrial fibrillation or a rapid heart rate. He made a quick recovery after going into an intensive care unit (ICU).

Duggan spoke to WrestleInc about his heart troubles, at WrestleCon, earlier this year,

My heart went out of rhythm. They tried to shock it from the outside which didn’t work… they went in, shocked my heart and got it back into rhythm. So, thank God everything is going good.

In summary, Hacksaw has a strong history with medical problems.

What This Means…

This could very well be another heart scare considering his heart problems occurred almost a year ago and given his wife, Debra, refuses to inform us of the specific infection Duggan has now.

If Duggan’s current medical issue is a heart infection, it’s endocarditis. It’s when bacteria enters and travels through someone’s bloodstream and eventually attaches itself to damaged areas of their heart.

No Reportings from WWE

Duggan is currently a part of a Legends deal with WWE and has been for years.

However, the company hasn’t given any word to the public concerning Duggan’s current medical issue or his heart problems last year.

In conclusion, Heel By Nature wishes Duggan a speedy recovery.
