WWE Hopeful Randy Orton Will Be Back Soon

WWE RAW Superstar Randy Orton has been off television for over a month for undisclosed reasons.

He last appeared on the June 21 episode of RAW, losing a match to John Morrison. The following week, Orton was scheduled to compete in a Second Chance qualifying match for the Money In The Bank ladder match, but was unable to due to unknown circumstances.

According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Orton is listed under WWE’s “disabled/inactive list”, with no specific reasons details on his status. The report notes there are no issues between him and the company.

The company had creative plans throughout the summer involving Orton and Riddle, but due to circumstances surrounding Orton’s absence, an audible was called.

WWE is hopeful he will return for the August 2nd edition of Monday Night RAW from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL. He is currently advertised for that event.
