WWE star Cesaro has left WWE following his contract expiring.

As first reported by PWInsider, WWE and Cesaro were unable to come to terms on a new contract, resulting in him leaving the promotion. One WWE source noted WWE offered him an extension to his current deal, but was turned down.

He will not be bound by a 90-day non-compete clause due to the expiration of his deal.

Cesaro’s last match in WWE was during the 2/11 episode of SmackDown, losing to Happy Corbin.
