Injured WWE Stars Training For Returns

Several WWE stars were sidelined in 2019, many with major injuries that have kept them on the shelf.

Two WWE stars are slated to return shortly after the new year, according to WWE’s internal injury report.

Fightful Select reports that Nia Jax and Ruby Riott are both internally listed with return dates of January 2020. If cleared, they both could compete at the 2020 Royal Rumble in Houston, TX on 1/26.

Ruby Riott has been on the shelf following double shoulder surgery for bilateral injures

Nia Jax posted a video on 12/6 training at the WWE Performance Center with the caption “testing new knees”. Jax underwent double ACL surgery earlier this year.

Despite training on Instagram, the report indicates Lars Sullivan is “nowhere near a return”. Internally he is listed with a “return” date of June 2020, with his knee injury recovery going slower than expected.
